Third Lake Associates Participates in the IIUSA Leadership Summit and Capitol Hill Fly-In

IIUSA Heads to Capitol Hill for Record-Breaking Q3 Fly-In and Annual Leadership Summit

Earlier this month, industry leaders gathered in Washington, D.C. for IIUSA's Annual Leadership Summit and Q3 Capitol Hill Fly-In, participating in a record-breaking 50 congressional meetings focused on the future of the EB-5 Regional Center Program and its role in driving economic development and job creation across the United States.

This strong level of engagement from policymakers and industry stakeholders reflects the growing recognition of the EB-5 program. Advocacy efforts continue to highlight how EB-5 capital supports infrastructure, real estate development, business growth, and employment opportunities.

The event featured discussions on key legislative and policy developments affecting the industry, as well as the broad bipartisan support that continues to exist for the EB-5 program on Capitol Hill. A major focus of the fly-in was advocating for the reauthorization of the EB-5 Regional Center Program beyond its current 2027 sunset date. Industry representatives encouraged lawmakers to extend the program through 2032, providing investors, developers, and communities with greater certainty and confidence in the program's long-term future.

At Third Lake Associates, we are proud to have leadership actively engaged in these important conversations. Our Principal, Eren Cicekdagi, was on the ground in Washington meeting with congressional representatives, industry peers, and advocacy leaders in support of the program and its continued success.

The strong participation and positive dialogue surrounding this year's event reinforces our confidence in the future of EB-5. As momentum continues to build, Third Lake Associates remains committed to monitoring legislative and regulatory developments.
